Parents' Handbook
Welcome to Chabad of the Town’s Hebrew School! To assure that your child has a positive educational experience, as well as a good time, we would like to advise how to best prepare your child for our school day.
- The first step in the right direction is for parents and children to realize that attendance is the key to a successful school year.
- Please be sure your child arrives to school on time at 10:00 AM sharp. Children are not to be dropped off more than 15 minutes before school, and picked up no later than 15 minutes after dismissal.
- Kosher snacks will be provided for the children each week.
- Your child will be coming home from school with a worksheet for review. In order to gain the most from our once a week Hebrew School, students should take the time at home to study the material. Please encourage your child to complete his/her work.
- Every day of Hebrew School, students should come prepared with all of the necessary supplies. Please see the following page for the list of supplies.
- Feel free to call our office to speak with our staff for any concerns you wish to discuss at 514-342-1770.
List of supplies to bring with you each week:
- The child's Chabad of the Town Hebrew School folder
- A pen or a pencil
- A Mitzvah note
- A coin (of any amount) for Charity
- Boys: a Yarmulke, (Kipa), baseball cap or any other head covering.
