About Us
The Canadian Institute of Contemporary Jewish Law & Ethics is a non-profit organization providing accredited continuing legal education to lawyers and other legal professionals.
Our institute provides the most innovative, informative and entertaining seminars on a wide range of topics while comparing Civil Law and Jewish Law. Talmudic Law and Ethics have served as a cornerstone of humanity’s civil and moral infrastructure while helping to shape its legal-judicial system.
At our institute, we strive to promote strong ethical and moral values through our continuing legal education seminars. Our courses will assist you in comparing and contrasting legal reasoning and adaptation between Talmudic Law and Civil law.
Our institute works closely with the Barreau du Quebec and hosts several seminars during the year, enabling legal professionals to achieve their required 30 FCO credits. These seminars are open to all legal professionals.
Our institute is under the auspices of Chabad of the Town where we strive to promote Jewish ethics and advanced education, based on age old Talmudic wisdom. We serve both professionals and individuals alike who seek to further their personal development and growth.
